92% of Devs Using AI Coding Tools: Checkmarx Comment

Reaching out regarding the recent GitHub survey findings which found a staggering 92% of Devs Using AI Coding Tools, Ori Bendet, VP of Product Management at Checkmarx has commented on developers using AI as a coding tool, please see the following comment:
“GenAI and AI coding tools are helping developers be much more productive and efficient. However, like many new technologies, using them blindly can have a negative impact on the code quality and more importantly, the security. Because its machine generated, there is a false hope or belief it’s perfect. And we know for sure - it’s not. We should make sure we understand what GenAI tools can do, and more importantly, what they can’t.”
